Palworld Breeding Calculator — Every Combination & Map

Pick two parents, see the exact Pal that hatches. No guessing, no percentages — the child is fixed by the game, so if the calculator says Sibelyx, you get Sibelyx. We rebuilt this on the 1.0 files after spotting that half the guides online still repeat early-access recipes that stopped working a long time ago.

Offspring

Lamball + Cattiva always hatches Daedream.

All combinations

Every parent pair that produces the Pal you want.

Breeding path finder

The shortest chain from the Pals you own to your target.

Paldex

Stats, elements and work suitability for all 299 Pals.

The real v1.0 formula

Each Pal has a hidden breeding rank. The game computes floor((rankA + rankB + 1) / 2) and hatches the Pal with the nearest rank.

Every unique recipe

About 150 pairs — Anubis, Faleris, Shadowbeak and friends — ignore the formula. All of them are built in and flagged as unique.

Validated, not guessed

Checked against the game's own table of 44,551 pairs with zero mismatches, and unbreedable Pals are reported honestly.

How the breeding calculator works

Three steps, and the species you get is never a coin flip. Only the passives and IVs roll when the egg cracks.

1

Pick two parents

Choose any two Pals from the full 299-entry Paldex. Gender and order don't change the result — only the two species matter.

2

We run the v1.0 formula

The calculator averages the two parents' hidden CombiRanks with floor((rankA + rankB + 1) / 2), then matches the nearest breedable Pal — or applies a fixed unique recipe.

3

See the guaranteed child

The offspring is deterministic. The same pair always hatches the same Pal, so you can plan breeding chains with certainty instead of relying on luck.

Plan breeding chains, don't grind spawns

Because the offspring of any two Pals is fixed by the game's combination table, you can chain pairs deliberately until you reach a rare target like Anubis, Shadowbeak or Jetragon. Use the path finder to get a step-by-step chain from the Pals already in your Palbox.

Pass down the passives you want

Eggs inherit passive skills from both parents and roll their own IVs, so pairing Pals that already carry passives like Legend, Swift, Musclehead and Ferocious concentrates four strong passives into a single line over a few generations. The species stays fixed by the calculator's result.

Palworld breeding — frequently asked questions

How does breeding work in Palworld?
Put one male and one female Pal in a Breeding Farm with Cake. The game gives every Pal a hidden breeding rank, averages the two parents' ranks with the formula floor((rankA + rankB + 1) / 2), and hatches the Pal whose rank is closest to that value. Around 150 pairs ignore the formula and use a fixed unique recipe instead.
Does the gender or order of the parents change the child?
No. The offspring depends only on which two species you pair, so Lamball + Cattiva and Cattiva + Lamball always hatch the same Pal. You still need one male and one female of the two species.
Which Pals cannot be bred in Palworld?
A small group of Pals — including Jetragon, Frostallion, Paladius, Necromus, Bellanoir and other raid or legendary bosses — have no breeding rank in the game files, so they can never be produced or used as a parent. This calculator tells you when a chosen Pal is unbreedable instead of guessing.
How accurate is this Palworld breeding calculator?
It runs the actual version 1.0 algorithm against every Pal's CombiRank plus all unique recipes, and it was validated against the game's own combination tables with zero mismatches across every pairing.
Do passive skills and IVs pass to the baby Pal?
Yes. The egg inherits passive skills from both parents and rolls its own IVs, so pairing parents that already carry the passives you want is the fastest way to breed a strong Pal. The species of the child is unaffected by passives.
How long does an egg take to hatch?
Eggs appear at the Breeding Farm after a few in-game minutes and then need an Egg Incubator. Placing the incubator in a climate that matches the egg's element, or using heaters and coolers, cuts hatch time significantly.
