- Fight bosses. Tower bosses gate progression and drop technology, while Alpha Pals in the field are the fastest way to get strong Pals early.
- Breed better Pals. Put two Pals in a Breeding Farm with Cake and you get an egg. The child is decided by the game's rank-averaging formula plus a list of unique recipes.

The offspring of any two Pals is fixed by the game's combination table, so you can chain pairs deliberately until you reach a rare target like Anubis or Jetragon instead of hoping for lucky spawns.
