Polymer is a manufactured material rather than a natural resource. It requires a Production Assembly Line, one of the mid-game base structures, and is made from Refined Ingots combined with Sulfur. There is no shortcut — you need both ingredient chains running before Polymer becomes easy to produce in bulk.

The loop we use
- Unlock the Production Assembly Line as soon as it appears in your tech tree — it also unlocks several other mid-game materials.

- Staff the base with Mining Pals for Ore and Sulfur, plus a couple of Transporting Pals to move materials between nodes and the crafting stations.
- Keep the Production Assembly Line's ingredient chests stocked and queue Polymer production whenever you are not actively using the line for something else.
