1. Catch Pals

Catching is the backbone. Weaken a Pal, then throw a sphere; lower HP and a back attack both raise the catch rate. Every catch grants Technology Points, and the first ten of any species give a capture bonus that increases your Paldex rewards. Early on you catch for labor, later you catch for specific passive skills to feed into breeding.

2. Build and automate a base

A base is a Palbox plus everything you place around it. Pals assigned there work autonomously based on their work suitability:

Getting production running unattended — ore into ingots, wheat into cake, logs into planks — is the point where most players say the game clicks.

3. Fight the tower bosses

Five Syndicate tower bosses act as the main progression spine. Each is a timed, paired fight against a human and a Pal, and each drops technology and progression rewards. They also set the difficulty pace: if a tower feels impossible, your gear tier or Pal levels are behind rather than your aim.

4. Breed stronger Pals

Breeding is the deepest system in the game. Two parents plus Cake in a Breeding Farm produce an egg whose species is fixed by the combination table, and passive skills roll from the parents' pool. That means:

• You can plan a chain to any Pal, including ones you have never caught.
• You can concentrate four strong passives into a single line over a few generations.
• You can produce a mount or work Pal that outperforms any wild catch.

5. Explore, raid and collect

• Dungeons rotate across the map and end in a boss with schematic drops.
• Alpha Pals are field bosses marked on the interactive map and are the best early source of high-level Pals.

• Chests and fast travel points fill in the exploration layer between objectives.

A sensible order for a new save

1. Catch starters, build a Palbox and Primitive Workbench.
2. Unlock the Pal Sphere line and mass-produce spheres.
3. Set up ore mining and a furnace to reach metal gear.
4. Beat the first tower boss around level 15-20.
5. Build a Breeding Farm and a Cake supply chain.
6. Chase specific Pals with the calculator instead of grinding spawns.
