How do you get Coralum in Palworld?

Coralum is one of the more geographically specific ores in Palworld, which trips up a lot of players who only ever mine inland. If you have been swinging a pickaxe at every grey rock near your base and coming up empty, that is expected — Coralum simply is not there.

Coralum is a coastal resource

Rather than spawning in mountains or caves like traditional Ore, Coralum nodes cluster around coastlines and reef-adjacent terrain. The nodes themselves have a distinct coral-like coloring that sets them apart from standard rock, making them easy to identify once you know what you are looking for.

Where to start looking

1. Head toward any shoreline region you have not fully explored yet.
2. Scan the beach and shallow reef areas rather than the cliffs further inland.
3. Cross-reference promising coastal stretches using our interactive map so you are not re-walking the same beach twice.

Because coastal biomes vary across the islands, some shorelines will have dense Coralum clusters while others have almost none, so it is worth checking a few different coastal regions before settling on a farming route.

Building a farming loop

Once you find a productive stretch of coastline, treat it the same way you would any other ore route:

• Mine every visible node on the way in and back out.
• Note the location so you can return once the nodes respawn.
• Consider a small outpost if the cluster is dense enough to justify a base slot.

Treating resource runs as multi-purpose trips, rather than single-material errands, is generally the more efficient way to play once your base needs start to diversify.
