How do you get Meteorite in Palworld?

Meteorite stands out from every other mineral in Palworld because it is not sitting somewhere on the map waiting for you — it falls from the sky. That single difference explains most of the confusion players have about where to "find" it.

Meteorite comes from meteor showers

Periodically, the game triggers a meteor shower event where one or more meteors streak visibly across the sky before crashing into a semi-random point on the map. Wherever a meteor lands, it leaves behind a crater with mineable Meteorite debris scattered around the impact site.

If you happen to spot a meteor falling while out exploring, it is worth sprinting toward the general direction of impact, since the crater will still have plenty of debris waiting once you arrive.

How to actually collect it

1. Keep an eye on the sky, especially at night when falling meteors are easier to spot.
2. Head toward the direction of impact as soon as you notice one.
3. Mine the debris scattered around the crater with a decent pickaxe.
4. Watch for other players or Pals also drawn to the noise and light of the impact, since crash sites can sometimes attract nearby wildlife.

Because impact locations are semi-random, there is no fixed farming route the way there is for Coal or Ore. Instead, Meteorite farming rewards players who explore broadly and stay alert, rather than those who camp a single spot. What Meteorite is actually used for

Meteorite generally feeds into some of the more advanced crafting recipes in the game, covering higher-tier equipment and specialty items that are not available through standard Ore-based crafting. Because supply is inherently limited by how often showers occur, it is worth banking Meteorite when you find it rather than spending it immediately unless you have an urgent need.

Making the most of a shower

A meteor shower is also a good moment to check your base defenses and nearby Pal spawns, since the commotion of an impact can occasionally draw wildlife toward the crater. If you are trying to build out a specific team through breeding, keeping an eye on what wanders near a fresh crater is a nice bonus on top of the mining itself.

Frequency depends on your settings

If Meteorite feels frustratingly rare, the shower frequency itself may be a factor.
