Palworld's 1.0 breeding uses a combi-rank system. Each Pal has a hidden rank, and an ordinary pair produces the species whose rank is closest to floor((rankA + rankB + 1) / 2). The step-by-step process:

1. Build a Breeding Farm from the technology tree.
2. Place a male and a female Pal inside — gender matters, species order does not.

5. Adjust the incubator temperature with a Heater or Cooler to hatch faster.

Catching Celaray Lux instead

Lower its health, apply a status effect or attack from behind for the capture bonus, then throw the best sphere you can craft.
