Palworld's 1.0 breeding uses a combi-rank system. Each Pal has a hidden rank, and an ordinary pair produces the species whose rank is closest to floor((rankA + rankB + 1) / 2). 1. Build a Breeding Farm from the technology tree.
2. Place a male and a female Pal inside — gender matters, species order does not.
3. Keep Cake in the feed box. Without it, no egg is produced.
4. Collect the egg and put it in an Egg Incubator.
5. Adjust the incubator temperature with a Heater or Cooler to hatch faster.

Catching Mau Cryst instead

Lower its health, apply a status effect or attack from behind for the capture bonus, then throw the best sphere you can craft.
