How do you get Needoll in Palworld?

Answer

Breed Fuack Ignis with Killamari Primo at a Breeding Farm to get Needoll in Palworld. There are 121 parent combinations in total that produce it. You can also catch Needoll in the wild with Pal Spheres.

Quick answer

Put Fuack Ignis and Killamari Primo (one male, one female) in a Breeding Farm with a Cake in the feed box. The egg they produce hatches into Needoll.

Needoll is a Grass element Pal whose best work suitabilities are Planting Lv3, Gathering Lv3, Transporting Lv1. It has 75 HP, 85 Attack and 70 Defence at base, and appears in the wild between level 31 and 40.

How breeding actually works

Palworld's 1.0 breeding uses a combi-rank system. Each Pal has a hidden rank, and an ordinary pair produces the species whose rank is closest to floor((rankA + rankB + 1) / 2). On top of that sit roughly 150 unique recipes that override the maths entirely — those are the ones that create variants and legendaries.

Needoll is produced by rank matching, so the pairs above all average out to its rank.

The step-by-step process:

  1. Build a Breeding Farm from the technology tree.
  2. Place a male and a female Pal inside — gender matters, species order does not.
  3. Keep Cake in the feed box. Without it, no egg is produced.
  4. Collect the egg and put it in an Egg Incubator.
  5. Adjust the incubator temperature with a Heater or Cooler to hatch faster.

Full detail, including Cake ingredients and passive-skill inheritance, is in our breeding guide and egg incubation guide.

Catching Needoll instead

Breeding is usually faster than hunting, but a wild capture gives you a Pal immediately and counts toward Paldex capture bonuses. Wild Needoll appear between level 31 and 40. Lower its health, apply a status effect or attack from behind for the capture bonus, then throw the best sphere you can craft.

Capturing ten of the same species grants a permanent Paldex capture bonus for it, which is a strong reason to keep catching duplicates rather than fleeing once you have one.

Passive skills worth breeding for

Children can inherit passives from either parent, so the real goal is rarely just the species — it is the species with the right traits:

  • Combat: Legend, Musclehead, Ferocious, Burly Body
  • Work Pals: Artisan, Serious, Lucky, Work Slave
  • Mounts: Runner, Nimble, Swift

Breed the child back with a well-rolled partner and repeat. The legendary breeding guide walks through a full four-passive chain.
